Position Title: Wall Plant Manager

Summary
We are looking for a Wall Plant Manager to take ownership of all plant operations at CMA Building Systems, including team leadership, and delivery excellence for this exciting line of business.
CMA Building Systems is partnering with Design Build Solutions and is proud to be the first of its kind in the Atlantic region—revolutionizing the construction landscape through the local production of prefabricated steel wall panels and accessory metals.
This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable navigating change, and can collaborate fluidly across departments. Experience in design-build projects and/or a deep understanding of the steel manufacturing process is essential, as our primary client is a developer delivering multiple concurrent long-term care and retirement living projects.
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of product design and programming to ensure alignment with production capabilities, constructability, and quality expectations.
- Manage day-to-day operations and align production with construction timelines through close collaboration with Project Managers.
- Ensure products meet all specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve workflow challenges to maintain production efficiency.
- Oversee procurement and inventory while tracking material use to maintain schedules and minimize costs and waste.
- Liaise information between plant operations, project teams, and senior leadership.
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and team members, resolving issues raised by production staff.
- Promote a safety-focused culture, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
- Document and refine core operational processes for scalability and efficiency.
Required Experience
Experience:
- 5+ years of leadership in plant, construction, or manufacturing; steel prefabrication or modular experience preferred.
- Strong grasp of design-build environments and construction workflows.
